Avril Lavigne - I'm With You (The View, 11.19.2002) [HQ]

AVRIL-MEDIA EXCLUSIVE: To celebrate the release of her latest single, Avril performed 'I'm With You' for the first time on TV on The View. (She performed 'Complicated' there as well, but I have yet to find that file. Can a fella get a little help up in here?)

'I'm With You' was released that very day, November 19, 2002, in the USA, where it would go on to reach #4.

This is a HQ file that I just discovered, much better than what has been around. It no longer appears to be available on the Internet in this quality. The video has a nice clarity in both sound and vision.

This is about as serious a performance by Avril as you'll see. When Avril was but a kid, she sang at church. But instead of old hymns in some God's house, this is Avril singing her new pop-rock songs in her house now. Atmosphere it drips with like wax from the candles on set, burning bright against the dying of the light. Avril was once with God. Now she's with us.
